ROGÉRIO DE LAURENZIO
Mr. De Laurenzio has over 30 years of experience in business management and financial markets. He graduated with a Law degree in Brazil in the 1989. Over the next 10 years, he worked in the manufacturing sector, focused on the paper industry. Later, in the 1999, he joined Mutual of New York Corporation in Brazil (The MONY Group). A year later he was invited to travel to the US to work in the Miami offices of said group. After 4 years in the insurance and financial sector he was hired to support the expansion of the private banking operations of Sunstate Bank in Miami, where he was engaged for over 8 years managing investment portfolios of over 100 million dollars. In 2012 he founded his own consulting company and became affiliated with Genesis Investment Advisors, an independent asset management company in Miami, Florida. Here Mr. De Laurenzio managed portfolios of investments and Real Estate for high-net-worth families and business.
MANUEL E. BORRAJO
Prior to being a founding member of RAM Capital Management, Manuel was a Managing Director at CGI Merchant Group and Humboldt Advisors in Miami, where he specialized in infrastructure and real-estate finance, as well as structured securities. Manuel’s expertise in analyzing financial structures, risks, and mitigating factors related to real-estate and infrastructure, as well as his understanding of structured securities, has given him a unique understanding of the issues related to these sectors. As a former Standard & Poor’s infrastructure analyst, Manuel was the lead analyst for Enersis, the largest privately held power company in LATAM at the time, and Dominion Resources, one of the largest utilities in the U.S. At Standard & Poor’s, Manuel focused on LATAM infrastructure projects as wide ranging as power plants, toll roads, and refineries. Manuel also served as Portfolio Manager with EFFCU, where he built a $300 million portfolio comprised of structured and corporate securities. At EFFCU Manuel Developed Policy and Procedures for the analysis, acquisition and surveillance of said securities. Manuel attained a MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelors in Architecture from the City College of New York.
